Reflection on Audience Awareness

1. Linda Flower stresses the importance of audience awareness in composing while Elbow concludes that the question/issue with audience awareness is when. How would you explain the connections between these two points of view?

I don’t think audience awareness is important when you’re expressing your opinions, but in your conclusion it is important to make the audience understand, but even if they don’t understand they can use rhetorical reading to try to figure it out.

2. In general, what have you learned from Linda Flower’s and Peter Elbow’s article as a writer and as a reader?

They are trying to teach us the way you should write and read or tell us the way we should be reading and writing now that we are in college. i have learned that we were thought wrong in high school and now most of us are a problem for our professors, and we all have to change our ways to be a success as writers.
